About Me
Graphic design is in my blood. Literally.
It all started with my dad - a graphic designer straight out of high school. He was a hand lettering, no computers, straight up, old-school designer. Once I started dabbling with drawing and design - I was hooked.
I started operating a Lawson printing press by 13 years old (my dad still has this same press and uses it daily) and hand cutting custom, hand-drawn boat and vehicle lettering throughout high school for extra cash. By then... there was no turning back.
While specializing in several aspects of graphic design, my path has lead me down many avenues over the years. Freelance designing, operating a 4/c process, large format automated press, designing and maintaining websites, audio production and live sound engineering, and videography. (Most recently with HonorAir Knoxville) My personal favorite pastimes: pen and ink drawing and mobile photography.
I love what I do. And while being awarded a 2014 American Graphic Design Award from Graphic Design USA and an Addy Award in 2012 for Overall Website Design felt good - just point me towards the next project needing a design, layout, or fresh branding and a website - and I'll truly be in my comfort zone.
On June 1, 2019 I married my best friend. Our combined family has five kiddos, one fat cat named Chuck, and a dog named Lincoln.
